Massey Fergusson - tractors
Massey Ferguson is part of AGCO Corporation. Massey Ferguson is the largest and best-known brand in the manufacturing of agricultural machinery around the world with more than a 150-year history. The name of the brand was created by shortening the name Massey – Harris – Ferguson.
The company was founded in 1953 after the merger of the North American company Massey Harris with the English company Harry Ferguson Limited. Harry Ferguson was an engineer who invented the revolutionary three-point linkage. Currently, virtually all tractors are based on his unique ideas. Massey Harris history dates back to 1847, when Daniel Massey found a workshop for the production of simple farm machinery in Newcastle, Ontario, Canada. Ten years later, Alanson Harris established a foundry and repair shop of agricultural machinery.
